Title Removal & Stabilization of Bridge CE-0006 Mill Lane Over Scotchmans Creek
Description Sealed bid proposals for “Bid 13-08-52031: Removal & Stabilization of Bridge No. CE-0006 over Scotchmans Creek” as described in the proposal package, for the Cecil County Government, Department of Public Works will be received from qualified bidders until 1:30 PM, August 9, 2012 at the Purchasing Department, 200 Chesapeake Blvd, Suite 1400, Elkton, MD 21921. The Project requires the removal and disposal of all structural components associated with the Mill Lane bridge; permanent stabilization of the Mill Lane road embankments on both sides of the bridge and both sides of the washed out portion of Mill Lane; and all required temporary and permanent erosion and sediment control measures. A Mandatory pre-bid information conference will be held on July 25, 2012 at 8:00 AM in the Rising Sun Conference Room, County Administrative Building, 200 Chesapeake Blvd., Elkton, MD 21921. Bids will not be accepted from any contractors that did not attend a mandatory pre-bid information conference. Bid packages may be purchased at the Purchasing Office at a non-refundable cost of $50.00 per package for hard copies. Bid packages are aslo provided on the Cecil County web-page (http://www.ccgov.org/dept_purchasing/index.cfm) as a PDF document for all vendors to download at no charge.
